Looking inward – what does it mean to look inward

This past weekend I was watching a YouTube video about how one can gain spiritual enlightenment when I noticed a comment made by a previous viewer: “I’ve been searching inward for a long time now, and I’m still experiencing almost the same thing every time. I wish I knew exactly how to understand the words ‘look inward’.” This article is written for this viewer and for those who look like him and who feel that they do not fully understand when they look at it.
The main problem here is that “looking inward” is much more than what these words literally imply. Looking inward (or meditation) is only the beginning of the process of spiritual integration and enlightenment; There are other important steps that hardly anyone tells you about. For example, if you keep looking inward but ignore the inner guidance you are receiving or if your insights are not applied in real life, you will be stuck at the beginning of the process and will see roughly the same thing every time.
Several years ago, when my life was confusing and in desperation, I spent months searching within myself and becoming frustrated with myself for not making much progress (in terms of reconnecting and integrating with my higher self, gaining a greater and more well-being perspective, activating flow in my life, gaining new insights, activating favorable synchronicity, making good things happen, etc.). But I stuck.
Then came a point in time when I got tired of it, I vowed to follow my inner guidelines immediately and steadfastly, the only exception being some kind of emergency. This meant taking some risks, of course: Your inner guidance won’t always agree with conventional wisdom or the usual way of doing things. But I didn’t care what most people thought; I strived for it.
It wasn’t until I committed to and actually followed (meaning that I trusted myself enough to do so) that I began to experience the incredible power and amazing new insights that began pouring into my life. I believe this It is what most people want to experience when they make an effort to “look in”.
The day after I read this comment online about looking inward, a newsletter subscriber emailed me this question: “Why is there so little education about merging with your higher self?” (In my opinion, merging with your higher self is what happens naturally if you are serious about taking your “looking inward” or “acknowledging your Creator” to the next level.)
Well, little is taught because few people are able to explain in detail the process of merging with your Higher Self. After all, how can you clearly explain something you haven’t experienced yourself? Even channel master David Wilcock says that if the process had been easy, more people would have merged with their higher selves by now. For example, there are things that will lead you uphill and obstacles that you will encounter in the process that will test you.
Don’t worry if the process seems slow at first. It’s not something that happens overnight, and besides, everything worth doing takes time. But time will pass anyway, and where will you be 6 months from now?
Although you will get through the process faster and easier by following the example of someone who has already been through it, it is not until you experience the magic of continual flow in your own life and the uplift and inner peace that results that you truly “get it.” So tell me, please: Are you ready to look within yourself and take the steps to integrate with your Higher Self right now?
